Eligibility

End User Organizations

An “End User” organization is a trading organization such as a broker, exchange, hedge fund, prop shop, etc. If your firm is an End User organization and a member of the STAC Benchmark Council (see this list), you may register above. If your firm is an End User organization that is a NOT member of the Council, you can sign it up for a free Observer Membership.

Infrastructure Vendor or Professional Services Firms

Infrastructure vendors supply software, hardware, or services that do not include business logic. Professional Services Firms are what they sound like. Employees of Vendor Firms and Professional Services Firms require a registration code. If you do not have one, please see the vendor registration instructions and FAQ.

Business Application Vendors

A business-application vendor (BAV) is an organization that does not provide infrastructure but rather provides software or services that deliver business-level functionality to End User organizations. As users of technology infrastructure, BAVs may send technologists to STAC Summits under the same terms as End User organizations, above. If sales, marketing, or other employees not in technology R&D wish to attend, then the firm needs to follow the vendor registration instructions.
